Shortly after, Laliberte starred in a supporting role in 'Just Say Goodbye' (2017) written by Layla O'Shea, which sheds a light on teen suicide. After a series of projects, he was cast as the lead in Richard Griffin's 'Long Night in a Dead City' (2017), a dark and surreal tale of human isolation. In addition to acting, Laliberte is an avid listener of film scores and follows the works of many successful composers from John Williams to Thomas Newman.
