John Forbes is an American-Irish actor with more than 35 years of experience across theatre, film, and television. Also credited as John Michael Forbes in the UK, where he is registered with Spotlight. His screen credits include roles in Better Call Saul, opposite Carol Burnett, The Resident, Grimm, Homicide Hunter, and the feature film Maggie Moore(s), where he appeared alongside Jon Hamm and Nick Mohammed. His independent film work includes the award-winning short Infraction and the feature All Those Small Things, appearing opposite James Faulkner, On stage, John has performed in productions across the United States and internationally, including August: Osage County, Godspell, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He also developed the role of William Booth in Blood & Fire through the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop with Stephen Schwartz. In addition to acting, John is the founder of TAPE IT ABQ, where he coaches actors internationally in screen performance and audition technique.
