Nivaashiyni Krishnan was born and raised in Singapore. She is of Indian descent and her parents are from Paramakudi, Tamil Nadu, India. She pursued a degree in Fashion Media and Industries at Goldsmiths, University of London. While pursuing her studies, she worked as an assistant director and dabbled in screenplay writing for drama serials and multi-camera direction for shows. Nivaashiyni Krishnan is working on Oho Enthan Baby (Tamil) and a untitled Hindi film now.
