Russian actress Marina Shtoda was born in Moscow. She is a well known television star in Russia, best known for hit TV shows including I Fly, New Life of Det. Gourov, Schastlivy vmeste (the Russian version of Married With Children), Sled (2007) and Bezmolvnyy svidetel (2006). She's also been in three feature films, including Turn of Destiny, La Gioconda on Asphalt (2007), with a very strong supporting role in Hospital. She graduated from The Vakhtangov Theatre Academy, the premiere theatre arts academy of Russia. In addition to her series regular and movie roles, she has acted in over 20 television shows, and over 30 stage productions, including many roles at the famous Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theatre in Moscow. She now resides in Los Angeles to continue her successful acting career here in America.
