Evan Allen-Gessesse is a director, actor, producer, writer, and television host. In 2016 he won a EMMY Award for his documentary, Standing on Common Ground: 10 years later, a look back at the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He hosted the nationally syndicated PBS show, Local USA on World Channel. As an actor, Allen-Gessesse has appeared on such shows as Rosewood, Chance, I Am the Night, and 9-1-1. Currently, you can see him in the role of Renny on John Singleton's Snowfall.
