Stacy Thunes was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Marin County, Northern California. Her first play was Oliver! when she was 11 and from then on she has worked on three continents in film, TV and stage as well being the lead singer in an all-girl rock band called The Lewinskys. In 2005 she became a member of the ensemble at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, Germany, which was part of the former East. She has won prizes for her songwriting and has performed Shakespeare in a German dialect called Plattdeutsch.
