Martijn Nieuwerf was born on December 10, 1966 in the Netherlands. He is an actor and writer, known for Flikken Maastricht, Doctor Cheezy, De Zevensprong and Gooische vrouwen. He was founder of Theatre Company 't Barre Land. Martijn is married to actress/costume-designer Daphne de Winkel. They have a daughter, Hendrikje Nieuwerf (1999), and a son Kees Nieuwerf (2001).
