Aleisha is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada and has worn the many hats of independent filmmaking over the last 10 years as a producer and director. Her 15+ years in project management and business analysis gives her a unique perspective blending the functional and creative aspects of filmmaking. Aleisha's passion for film aims to bring a distinctive perspective to genre films, generally under-represented by women in production. Aleisha recognizes the opportunity to empower women by demonstrating that leadership and creative direction roles within production will connect and inspire future female filmmakers.
