Latham is an actor, composer and artist who lives in New Zealand. He is the son of novelist Charles Gaines who wrote Stay Hungry (1976) and Pumping Iron (1977), and artist Patricia Gaines. Latham was nominated for Best Actor in a TV series for The Cult at the Qantas media awards in NZ. Latham studied acting at N.Y.U. Latham also works as a composer with brother Shelby Gaines.
