Alok is a theatre artist who has only recently ventured into movies. He has directed and acted in many plays in Hong Kong and India. Some of his recent theatre works are "I Stay" (2008, Matchbox, Hong Kong, Director/Actor); "Veracity of Things" (2009, Matchbox, Hong Kong, Director), "The Weekend Cocktail" (2011-12, Dramatech, Delhi, Lighting Director), "Premchand Stories" (2012, Dramatech, Delhi, Actor) and "The Story of Ram and Sita" (2012, Delhi, Actor). He has also conducted acting workshops in Hong Kong and India.
