Bryce Hayes was born on September 18, 1988 in Charleston, South Carolina and grew up on Hilton Head Island, SC. He loved sports and played soccer and lacrosse for his high school. He went back to Charleston to attend the College of Charleston where he majored in Mass Communications and joined the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. It was two and a half years later when the broke college student heard about a Nicholas Sparks film coming Charleston, SC. Never acting before he submitted a photo to try to pick up some spare cash. This led to him landing the supporting role of Jerry in Dear John", his screen debut.
