Amirah J, whose name means "princess", is an actress and dancer born in Washington, DC. In 2015, while living in Texas, Amirah J met experienced talent scout Nikki Pederson and accepted an offer to enroll in the Nikki Pederson Talent L.A. Invitational team. She studied for a year with the team before moving to Los Angeles, CA. Since moving to Los Angeles, Amirah J has worked on several short films, national commercials, TV guest spots, and played the role of Xan on Showtime's Shameless season 9.
