John Bedford Lloyd's interest in acting began accidentally, while he was a pre-med student at Williams College. A friend convinced him to take a part in a production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," and the experience changed his life. He switched his curriculum to English and began regularly performing in plays, and went on to attend Yale, graduating from that school's prestigious School of Drama.
