A professional killer is hired to fake the assassination of a politician. However, when the politician is killed and he is framed for his murder, he takes on a dead man's identity to escape the law.

In this film Karthik and Padhu (Padmavati) are in love with each other and they get married. Padhu gives birth to a baby boy after which Padhu dies. Then, Padhu's sister marries Karthik.
