The film revolves around the life of an ordinary man and a local goon and how their lives get changed due to some unfortunate events.

ACP Pouran mistakes two innocent circus performers, Jumper Thambi and Tubelight Mani, to be dangerous terrorists and arrests them. Pouran realises his error only after the men are sentenced to death.

Pappu falls in love with Rathi, who is elder to him. However, things take a turn for the worse when a snake bites Rathi and he is unable to ask for help due to their relationship's secrecy.
