Toranj Kayvon is a Canadian actor raised Vancouver. She began her career as a fashion and advertising photographer and in 2012 she traveled to India where she began shooting Indian cinema's most celebrated actors for international magazines and brands. While Toranj was in Mumbai she began studying with an American acting coach with the intention to return to North America and pursue acting full time. While she has no Indian roots, Toranj was cast for Indian projects and learned different languages to support those roles. She has performed in English, Persian, Hindi, Pashto, and Urdu.
