Two twin brothers, Jeeva and Guru, are separated in childhood by their mother to save their lives. When the brothers meet several years later, Guru, who becomes a gangster, swaps places with Jeeva.

Two feuding landlords struggle to destroy each other. When one of them loses his son, he vows to kill the son of his rival. The boy, however, manages to escape only to return 20 years later.

A policeman accepts bribes from corrupt politicians and local thugs to help them in their illegal work. However, he decides to correct his mistakes after he falls in love with a woman.

Chitambaram doesn't want his daughter Kausalya to marry Suresh. Suresh then decides not to marry Kausalya without her father's permission. Finally Chitambaram relents and the lovers reunite.
