Garrett Louis grew up in Southern California. After studying engineering at UC Berkeley, he moved to Ann Arbor, MI where he lived with a group of actors from the University of Michigan. After this experience he moved back to his childhood city of Los Angeles. He enrolled in night school for acting at UCLA, while programming apps during the day.
