Lorna Nickson Brown was born in July 1990 in the West Midlands, UK. She is an actress and director, known for Poirot (1989), Lucy, the Human Chimp (2021) and The Boys in the Boat (2023). She directed and executive produced BFI Network short, Ned & Me (2020). The film's festival selections include the 2021 International Competition at Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival. Lorna trained at Drama Centre London where she was offered one of five female places on the three-year BA Acting course, winning a Laurence Olivier Bursary Award in her final year.
