Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Christine spent her time between Europe and Canada after high school. While attending college in Vancouver, she originally tried acting as a hobby while majoring in art history and fell in love with it. She became a full-time actress after landing roles in 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), Intern Academy (2004), and Final Destination (2000) among many others. She has starred in many television shows including The Dead Zone (2002), Psych (2006), Fringe (2008) and Supernatural (2005) and was the title character in the successful SyFy mini-series Riese (2009). In 2005, she received a Leo award nomination for her role in The Collector (2004).
