Born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, Marissa's childhood was filled with every outlet imaginable, for her captivating energy and desire to entertain others. This trend carried over into her adult-life and after graduating from Eckerd College with a degree in International Business, Anthropology and Communications, Marissa found herself right at home and in many people's living rooms, as a guest host on The Home Shopping Network in Tampa, FL. Today Marissa's resume boasts numerous TV, film, commercial and theatrical credits, along with years of on-air hosting experience for various networks and events. When Marissa is not on set, hosting on the red carpet or performing stand-up comedy, she loves wine, traveling, and spending her free time with her rescue dog, Ella!
