Kate is a Steppenwolf Ensemble member best known for her work onstage, especially with Steppenwolf in Chicago. She has performed on Broadway in Grace with Paul Rudd, Ed Asner, and Michael Shannon and Our Mother's Brief Affair with Linda Lavin. She is married to actor Michael Shannon with whom she has two daughters.
