Richard was born in Bath, Somerset and raised in Reading, Berkshire. He started as an assistant director at a local theatre group and from there made numerous short films with his hi-8 camcorder. He began his career directing Music Videos and Commercials whilst also working for BBC Sport shooting Idents. His dream has always been storytelling through film and television, this is now his focus.
