Born and raised in Kansas, Kaye earned a BFA from Wichita State University. After graduation, she was a full time costume designer and regional stage actress. She performed in various musical comedies including Evil Dead: The Musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Kaye resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her husband, a clowder of cats, and one tubby pit bull. She continues to sew on the side so she can afford frivolous things like heat and water. Future ambitions include purchasing a lifetime supply of Trader Joe's dark chocolate peanut butter cups, and owning a brood of backyard hens.
