Nick Benas was born on February 19, 1979, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is an American writer, actor, and producer. Raised in Guilford, Connecticut, Benas served in the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school, serving a four-year enlistment. Later, he finished out the spring semester as a civilian student and volunteered to re-enlist as a Marine to serve in Iraq. Returning from combat deployment, Benas obtained both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Southern Connecticut State University. His lust for life and learning led Benas to advance his skills as both reader and writer. He has authored books as well as developed multi-faceted writing projects. The business of publishing led to his desire to shift to expressing the art of the human condition in front of the camera.
