John Backstrom grew up outside Seattle, Wash., where he graduated from Cornish College of the Arts. After a diverse career in fields such as criminal justice, fashion, advertising, and burger-flipping, John worked for several years as an indie AD and Producer before rediscovering his passion for acting. In 2019 he booked his first feature film speaking role on Slapface and became SAG-AFTRA eligible. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY where he is training in the 2-Year Conservatory program at Terry Knickerbocker Studio. [December 2020]
