Rukkmini was born in Kolkata, India and raised in Dubai & Switzerland. She first started performing with the renowned Dubai Drama Group. She then moved to Geneva, Switzerland where she performed in various plays at the prestigious Universite de Geneve. Soon after that, she moved to Los Angeles where she studied at the famous Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre, LA, completing the two year acting conservatory program.
