James was born in Dublin, Ireland and completed his acting training at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. James has performed all around Ireland in theaters such as The Peacock, The Project, The Lyric Belfast, and The Everyman in Cork just to name a few. James is now featuring in Vikings: Valhalla for Netflix. Upcoming releases include, African Queens for Netflix, Harry Wild for Acorn TV and The Doll Factory for Paramount.
